Tiffany

Hi' I am Tiffany

I’m an occupational therapist who loves helping kids build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their goals through fun, play based activities. My approach is grounded in sensory integration and child-led therapy, supported by current scientific research. I tailor each session to the child’s individual plan of care and personality, helping them thrive in the most important areas of life: home, school, and play.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

What is the essence of what you do?

I help children grow into the most empowered, balanced, independent versions of themselves by providing the sensory input, mental tools, physical strength, and coordination they need to regulate their nervous system to feel in control of their own body. Whether we’re spinning, climbing, or building calming routines, each session is intentionally designed to meet their body’s needs so they can focus, build friendships, and learn with confidence.

Personal Interests

When I’m not teaching gymnastics, furthering my education in occupational therapy, or listening to entrepreneur and personal development podcasts, you’ll find me hanging out with my dog, dreaming up creative therapy activities, or strolling through Target with a Starbucks in hand (and a cart full of things I didn’t plan to buy). I’m also a travel planner at heart. My itineraries are as detailed as my therapy sessions.

What I Believe (quote that best describes me)

“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.” — Ignacio Estrada

What do you like most about your job?

I love working at Sensory SMART because it is a movement based sensory integration facility, and I’ve seen some of the most powerful progress happen in this environment. This approach results in faster results and more meaningful outcomes than I’ve seen in traditional pediatric settings. Celebrating each child’s progress, big or small, is the most rewarding part of what I do.

What patients like most about me and my organization?

Families appreciate my positive energy, creativity, and ability to make therapy both effective and fun. I provide structure through firm boundaries but always lead with high praise and emotional connection. Parents value my parent education, clear communication, individualized strategies, and the genuine care I show for their child’s progress. At SMART Therapy, we are here to support your whole family, not just in sessions, but every step of the way.
