Hi' I am Jo
Jo graduated with her Master’s degree from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She completed post graduate study at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR. Areas of special interest include: disorders of feeding and swallowing, early language development, executive function skills and family education. Being a part of the SMaRT Pediatric Therapy team provides the opportunity to help families achieve their child’s full potential through collaboration, respect and meeting each person where they are.

What do you like most about your job?
I like getting to know each child, what gets them excited about communicating or what is creating their relationship with food; working with families and hearing their priorities and concerns and working together toward a positive outcome.
