What is the essence of what you do?

I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).  I graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute with an Associates of Applied Science for Occupational Therapy Assistant.  I have experience working with children in home health and clinic settings.

Your personal interests:

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and traveling to new places.

What do you believe? (A quote that describes you):

Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.- Unknown

What do you like most about your job?

I have a unique opportunity with my job to help instill skills and make a positive impact on children’s lives.  I love to see an increase of self-worth, pride and joy it brings to a child when they have reached their accomplishments.  I enjoy being part of a profession that focuses on the whole child and not just the disability.

What do patients like most about you? And your organization?

What I love about SMART Pediatric Therapy is how we focus on the patient and their families, and how we can incorporate therapy into their day to day lives.  What my patients like most about me is, I have a friendly and calm personality, I am caring, and genuinely happy to work with my patients every week.  I love hearing from families about how much growth they have seen in their child since starting therapy.
